After taking the fourth round last week, the Browning Stanjay angler claimed the fifth round with a haul of 7lb 10oz of roach, using pinkies.

AN ANGLER normally known for targeting big tench made an interesting capture at the Bluebell Lake Tansor Peterborough.
Godmanchester man John McAngus, who is also known for his perch catches, was fishing for tench, hoping to beat his 8lb 2oz season’s best at the venue using worms and fishing close to a bed of lilies.

A FISHERMAN was attacked and thrown in the water during a ‘river rage’ incident in Godmanchester.
The man, who is in his mid-40s and lives in Cambourne, had been fishing on the Embankment on The Causeway at noon on Sunday, February 18.
